Small medical emergencies have often been the source of big financial crises for ministers and ministry staff.
Many congregations simply do not have the funds to provide adequate health insurance and many times do not have the expertise to make informed decisions about benefit plans and options. More often than not, the only choice available to ministers has been no insurance at all – putting at risk the very people we rely on to serve our church family.
